Introduction to the Breeder's Registry

The Breeder's Registry, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to collecting and redistributing information about propagating marine organisms mainly, but not exclusively, within closed systems and publishing new information as well. Most of the marine organisms kept in aquaria are not of commercial food fish interest and much of what is currently known about reproductive behaviors and culturing techniques for these marine species, especially the "ornamental" species, is and will likely continue to be, from the experiences of the "amateur" home aquarist.

The majority of The Breeder's Registry's funding is currently from Supporting Members and select Sponsors. The cost of membership is literally "pennies per day"!
