The main objective of The Breeder's Registry is to provide new and original material which may further the progress of captive propagation of marine fishes and invertebrates in closed systems. Submitted original material should be relevant or adaptable to the propagation of marine fishes and/or invertebrates in closed systems. Topics can range from discussions of reproductive behaviors, husbandry techniques, diet (live and prepared), physical and biological system parameters, and system design. Scientific papers, "How-to" articles and stories about professional or hobbyist aquarium breeding operations are also welcome. Specific product(s) may be discussed as they pertain to the article, but articles should not be commercial in nature (info-mercials). There is no limit to article length, however, very large papers or articles may be published as multi-part pieces. Illustrations, tables, graphs and photos should be submitted as separate pages/files and not embedded in the text. The photographer or illustrator (if other than the author) must be identified. Previously copyrighted material may not be used with out written permission from the legal owner of the material.
Text should be submitted in electronic format. Microsoft Word is the preferred format. Text should be double spaced, font size 10, Times New Roman. References should be noted in the text (Author, Year) and listed alphabetically at the end of the article:
Author (Last, First), Year published, Title, Publication/Publisher, page
If possible, submit tables, graphs in an electronic format (MSWord or Excel). Illustrations
and photos may be in digital format or print/hard copy. Originals will be returned if requested.
